Breast Augmentation in Mexico

Women with volume loss from aging, weight loss, pregnancy, or breastfeeding, can restore their breasts with an augmentation procedure. This is a rather simple procedure, yet needs board-certified surgeon with expertise to perform it correctly without getting botched.

Traveling abroad for medical treatment is nothing new but nowadays there is a high proportion of individuals from the United States and Canada who are traveling to Mexico in order to get medical treatment. This can be for a wide variety of different concerns. These include cosmetic surgery, weight loss surgery in Mexico, dental surgery and the treatment of genetic disorders.

Those who are planning to travel to Mexico for any form of treatment will need to make sure that they understand the system. This often means having a look at hospitals that have been accredited by the International Joint Commission. At present, the Commission has seven hospitals in Mexico which are fully accredited. Those who want to remain safe and undergo quality care will be able to take a look at these hospitals and the services that they offer.

The Procedure: Breast Augmentation

The breast augmentation procedure varies depending on what you want to be done. Before it begins, however, patients are given either a local or general anesthetic. This will depend on the surgery or even the wishes of the patient. Whether there are going to be implants or the breasts are going to be reduced, the surgeon needs to make the appropriate marks on the breast so that he or she knows where they are to cut. This usually won’t take long. Once the patient is under, the surgeon will then be able to start with the incisions.

Fat transfer in the breasts is controversial at this point. It can result in calcifications formation and may interfere with mammography in cancer detection. See Saline Injection Breast Augmentation.

If the breasts are being made larger then implants will be used. This is not always the case, however, and some women want their breasts to be reduced in size. As a result, different procedures such as liposuction are used in order to get rid of the excess fat and breast tissue. The type of liposuction that is used will depend on how much the breast needs to be reduced. This is something that needs to be discussed with the Surgeon beforehand. Breast augmentation can always be different depending on the kind of result that you are going for in the first place.

Cosmetic Surgery and Breast Implant in Mexico

There is two types of breast implants: Saline implants – silicone shells filled with saline or sterile saltwater. Silicone implants – silicone shells filled with a plastic gel (silicone). Silicone implants feel more like real breasts than saline. However, they pose more of a danger if they leak.

One of the main reasons for medical tourism to Mexico is the cost. While the health care system tends to be a little inferior to that of the United States, the costs are also considerably lower. Please contact Mexico Cosmetic Center at 1(916)224-9611 to get a direct quote for your procedure!

Considering Cosmetic Surgery

As well as this, there are often packages that are given to medical tourists. This can include a stay in a hotel, the surgery itself as well as the aftercare and follow-ups. In some cases, it may also be possible to find US native or English-speaking surgeons who will help you through the procedure and ensure that you understand what is going on.

Whether you plan on getting breast augmentation or liposuction, it is important to take a look at the entire industry and see what sort of procedures are out there. Different people will need different procedures, especially when it comes to something like liposuction. In essence, liposuction is the removal of fat from the body. This fat is then put into another part of the body and molded or shaped.

Doing so will help to improve the individual’s appearance and contribute to boosting self-esteem. Of course, there are going to be certain risks involved with something like this. Medical risks can heighten if too much fat is removed from the body and there are other concerns that can arise from this. As a result, it is a good idea to look over everything to ensure that you are aware of what can go on and what the surgeon can do in these situations.

Before you have the surgery you will have to speak with the surgeon. Your surgeon will ask you a few questions regarding your reasons for undergoing such a procedure. As well as this, you will need to tell him or her about any allergies you may have. This is very important.

After Care

Depending on the procedure you may have to stay in the hospital a day or two. Patients will be given everything they need. This includes the hospital garments as well as the appropriate medication to stop inflammation, pain and, of course, any bacterial infection that could occur during the recovery process. The compression garment is a must and you should wear it after surgery.
