Your Trusted Partner in Cosmetic Surgery

Mexico Cosmetic Center® (MCC) is a premier provider of plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery. We partner with a network of highly skilled, board-certified plastic surgeons in Tijuana and other top destinations throughout Mexico.

Our experienced surgeons specialize in **body contouring surgery**, particularly for patients who have experienced massive weight loss through bariatric surgery or significant lifestyle changes.

Experts in Post-Bariatric Body Contouring

Patients who have undergone bariatric procedures like Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RNY) or gastric sleeve surgery require a specialized surgical approach. Our team understands these unique challenges, such as the potential for low preoperative hemoglobin levels in RNY patients, and provides safe, personalized care tailored to the needs of post-bariatric patients.

BMI Requirements for Plastic Surgery

A BMI under 30 is typically recommended for most cosmetic surgeries. However, our surgeons take into account that bariatric patients often have a higher BMI due to excess skin. While each case is evaluated individually, operating on patients with a BMI over 30 is rare unless special considerations apply.

Most Popular Plastic Surgery Packages

Our most popular package is the **Mommy Makeover**, which can include liposuction, a tummy tuck, and breast lift or augmentation. For the safety of the patient, additional procedures like an arm lift, thigh lift, or butt enhancement may also be combined, depending on the individual case.

For post-bariatric patients with a significant amount of loose skin, a **Lower Body Lift** or **Circumferential Tummy Tuck** is often recommended. In a lower body lift, the surgeon makes an incision around the torso, uses liposuction to re-contour the figure from the ribs to the knees, tightens abdominal muscles, and removes excess skin from the outer thighs and buttocks.
